Biography

Born in 1995, Mélanie Gracia is a glass artist who blends abstract and figurative styles, working in collaboration with Justin Hemery at Atelier Horizon Verre, located in the heart of the Limagne region.

After earning her high school diploma in applied arts, she enrolled at the Glass National School of Yzeure, where she earned her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) with a specialization in architectural glass and crystal. She then continued her studies in glass in Montreal, where she graduated in 2019 and met Justin Hemery, with whom she co-founded Atelier Horizon Verre in 2021.

In her work, Mélanie Gracia offers a blend of the figurative and the abstract, combining various materials and playing with different perspectives. Through these works, she shows us how to view the beauty of the world with admiration, while making us aware of the fragility of the nature that surrounds us.
