Biography

Pierre Berger is a self-taught artist who started working with metal ten years ago. He started with the creation of aluminum jewelry, then chose to devote himself to steel sculpture to be able to express himself on larger volumes.

Very inspired by the abstract movements of the middle of the 20th century, his sculptures are never figurative, except for a few suggested animal shapes. He likes to work with soft and biomorphic forms, which he assembles in the form of totems.

These totems have a deep meaning for him. He considers them as transmitters of positive waves and likes to present them as such. He firmly believes that art can have a positive impact on people, and wants his sculptures to carry this energy.
